Door (Reader)

This form is used to add, delete and configure door(s). Here you can also add, delete and configure readers attached to these doors.

Click on Configuration >> Detail Configuration >> Door (Reader)

Door Details

This part of window allows user to add and update door information such as; Id, Name, Door Type, Lock Type, Fail Type, Normal Grant Access Time, Extended Grant Access Time, Minimum Open Time, Direct Relay Minimum Time, Aux Minimum Time, Door Held Time, Rex Open Time, Behavior Type.

Set Default Values

Clicking on this button will automatically set all the default values apart from Door Id and Name as these values are mandatory and to be filled by the user only.

Let us see how to configure doors.
  1. Click on New button to add door.
  2. Click on button Set Default Values, if required.
  3. Enter numeric value for Door Id.
  4. Enter Door Name.
  5. Enter values for X, Y, Z and Theta.
  6. Select Door Type from the drop down list which contains types such as; Swing, Double Door, Glass Door.
  7. Select Lock Type from the drop down list which contains types such as; Electromagnetic Plate Lock, Electric Bolt Lock, Strike Lock.
  8. Select Fail Type from the drop down list which contains types such as; Fail Safe and Fail Secure.
  9. Enter values for Normal Grant Access Time, Extended Grant Access Time, Minimum Open Time, Direct Relay Minimum Time, Aux Minimum Time, Door Held Time, Rex Open Time.
  10. Select required Behaviour type from FIFO, FICO, CIFO and CICO using drop down list.
  11. Click on Add button to save the entry.

List of Doors

As shown in diagram below, this window displays the list of doors added. It displays the details added above.

Reader Information

Reader Details 

This part allows user to attach readers to selected doors. Each door can have maximum two readers attached to it. Here user can add details of attached reader such as Reader Id, Door side, Reader Type, Reader Make (Name of reader), Reader Side, Door Id of the door to which this reader is attached, Serial No, Host Lookup, Access Method, Elevator.

Controller Reader Interface for the Reader

This grid view is for reference to view the the list of Reader Interfaces. It displays the Serial number of controller to which the selected door is attached. It also helps to understand which reader interface is attached to controller so that it can be understood how many readers can be attached to selected door.

List of Readers

  This list displays the readers attached to selected doors, with its added parameters.


  


Already Assigned Readers

This reference table used to know how many reader are attached to doors, which side of the door has attached the reader. This table displays the information about all readers attached to all doors, with Reader Id, Reader Side, Door Id, Door Side and Controller Id to which the door and its readers are attached.


       Let us see how to add reader,

  1. Select the door to which you want to assign reader(s).
  2. Select / Click on Reader Interface tab.
  3. Click on New button.
  4. Once clicked on New button, it displays the reference table of already assigned readers with its details on the left hand side. Refer this table so that reader Id, controller Id, door Id, reader side and door ide can not be repeated.
  5. Click on set default values, if required.
  6. Enter reader id.
  7. It automatically generates Door Id.
  8. Enter all other values manually or by selecting them from drop down list options.
  9. Click on the Add Button to save the entry.

Note:
  • If Controller is HID-V2000, then maximum 2 readers can be attached to a single door.
  • If Controller is HID-V1000, then maximum 64 readers can be attached in total and maximum 2 readers can be attached to a single door.
  • If Controller is HID-ER40 or HID-E400, then maximum single reader can be attached to a single door.
Control Panel
  • Click on Edit button to edit selected entry.
  • Both processes, i.e. adding new entry and editing existing entry can be aborted by clicking on Cancel button.
  • Delete button deletes the selected entry.
  • Click on Refresh button to reload the entries from database onto form.
