Software Installation Test ReportPlease check Software Installation of following counts System DSN "dsnspcsdb" Test- Run ODBCAD32 using following command
- On 64 bit machine, run [c:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe]
- On 32 bit machine, run [c:\Windows\odbcad32.exe]
- Click on tab [System DSN]
- Select from the list [dsnspcsdb]
- Click on [Configure]
- Click on [Test]
- Test Result should be [Connection Successful]

Software Installed or Not- Click on [Start] -> [All Apps] -> [Snehapadma] -> [Snehapadma CentralStation Configuration]
- Use the credentials to log in the system.
- If you are able to complete above steps, Software is properly installed.
Dependencies installed or Not- Click on [Start] -> [All Apps] -> [Snehapadma] -> [Snehapadma TimeOffice]
- Use the credentials to log in the system.
- Click on [Masters] -> [Employee]
- Click on [Control] -> [Manpower Planning]
- If both above forms are opened without error, all dependencies are properly installed.
Controller Installation Test ReportController Power- Is Controller secured in proper place that is reachable?
- Is controller powered with 12V DC power supply?
- Is Power Supply covered with UPS Power?
Ethernet Connection- Is Controller connected to Ethernet Switch?
Controller IP Address- Is Controller configured for IP Address?
- Open web console of Controller which is available on http://ip.address.of.controller
- Click on [Basic Configurations] to get the information
- Can Controller be pinged from Host (PC on which Snehapadma CentralStation Server is run) PC
- Command to ping controller is [ping ip.address.of.controller].
Host IP Address- Is Host IP Address same as Host PC (PC on which Snehapadma CentralStation Server is run)?
- Open web console of Controller which is available on http://ip.address.of.controller
- Click on [Basic Configurations] to get the information
Here I Am Value- Make sure that the value of Here I Am parameter is 20
- Open web console of Controller which is available on http://ip.address.of.controller
- Click on [Basic Configurations] to get the information
Door Installation Test ReportDoor Lock- Is Door Lock properly powered?
Door Monitor- If not using the Door Monitor, are door monitor input points on Controller shorted?
REX Switch- Does pressing REX switch of exit switch deactivate lock?
In Reader- Is reader powered?
- Does credential data reach controller?
- Open web console of Controller which is available on http://ip.address.of.controller
- Click on [Status] to get the information
- The corresponding reader box should be green in color and not yellow.
- Is credential data reaching controller as expected?
- Open web console of Controller which is available on http://ip.address.of.controller
- Click on [Status] to get the information
- Hover the mouse over the green box corresponding to reader.
- Value that appears after hovering over the mouse should be same of given credential for all the readers
Out Reader- Is reader powered?
- Does credential data reach controller?
- Open web console of Controller which is available on http://ip.address.of.controller
- Click on [Status] to get the information
- The corresponding reader box should be green in color and not yellow.
- Is credential data reaching controller as expected?
- Open web console of Controller which is available on http://ip.address.of.controller
- Click on [Status] to get the information
- Hover the mouse over the green box corresponding to reader.
- Value that appears after hovering over the mouse should be same of given credential for all the readers
Controller - Snehapadma CentralStation Server Connection Test Report- When you run Snehapadma CentralStation Server, does controller turn green?
- Click on [Start] -> [All Apps] -> [Snehapadma] -> [Snehapadma CentralStation Server]
- Note that always, only one instance of Server should be running on a given port. If you run multiple instances on same port, the controller may not show green. To ensure you are running only one instance of Server, you can look for Snehapadma Icon in taskbar, or check in task manager.
Door Configuration Test ReportAccess Group
- Is there an Access Group that allows access to the door?
Assigning Access Rights
- Does assigning Access Group to demo card give access of door to demo card?
- Make sure Snehapadma CentralStation Server is running and controller is online (as described above)
- Assign the Access group to demo user
- Click on [Start] -> [All Apps] -> [Snehapadma] -> [Snehapadma CentralStation Configurations]
- Log in software using the necessary credentials
- Click on menu [Configurations] -> [Employee Configurations]
- Select the demo user
- Under section [Access Group] click on [Edit]
- Select the check box in front of required Access Group and click on [Save]
- Observe that necessary credential information is updated to Controller by Snehapadma CentralStation Server
- Now check Access to door by showing card
- Access should be granted and door should open.
Denying Access Rights- Does unassigning Access Group(s) to demo card deny access of door to demo card?
- Make sure Snehapadma CentralStation Server is running and controller is online (as described above)
- Assign the Access group to demo user
- Click on [Start] -> [All Apps] -> [Snehapadma] -> [Snehapadma CentralStation Configurations]
- Log in software using the necessary credentials
- Click on menu [Configurations] -> [Employee Configurations]
- Select the demo user
- Under section [Access Group] click on [Edit]
- Uncheck the check box in front of required Access Group(s) and click on [Save]
- Observe that necessary credential information is updated to Controller by Snehapadma CentralStation Server
- Now check Access to door by showing card
- Access should be denied and door should remain close.
Access Report Test ReportOpening report of Access Granted and Access Denied
- Click on [Start] -> [All Apps] -> [Snehapadma] -> [Snehapadma CentralStation Configurations]
- Log in software using the necessary credentials
- Click on menu [Reports] -> [Access Report]
- Select the Access Areas, the Dates, check the check boxes [Access Granted] and [Access Denied] in section [Show Reports for]
- Click on [Show Report]
- This should show the reports of events access granted and access denied as expected.
Exporting Access Report to Excel- Click on [Export to Excel]
- If Microsoft Excel is installed on the PC, this should show the same report in excel.
